generic. i hate modern animation design. just because Anime got popular in America doesn’t mean we need to start cranking out a bunch of illustrations that look identical from person to person…

Ricky, shut the fuck up.
This is in no way “anime” or “generic”. Honestly I don’t think you have the slightest idea what youre talking about, haven’t considered the kind of talent it takes to create pieces like this, and just felt like hating on something. How you can honestly say this is related to the cranking out of identical people without laughing at yourself makes me utterly clueless.

I like them all, especially Killer Croc. Looks like the 1998 remake of Godzilla.
As for the style, I agree that they look similar to the typical Saturday Morning type fare, but they ain’t “anime”. But this style, to me, makes it more powerful. By using a “kid-friendly”-ish style on such a dark series, AND maintain the dark feel is truly artistic talent to be respected. Although, I think a show with this style in it would be more a week-late-night deal, so as to presume the kiddies are all asleep for their next day of school, thus allowing the adults to enjoy its dark nature.
Just my thoughts.
