For me it was definitely when Optimus Prime finally crossed over. I remember thinking there was no way he could die after all the other Autobots bought it too. Really sad moment in my childhood!

The ones that really made me sad were:
* Arnie’s death in T2
* Anakin’s death in SW Ep. 6
And that’s about it, really. No coincidence that both Terminator and Star Wars are my favourite movie franchises.
